In the summer of 2005 numerous club calf producers in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia came together to market and promote show calves and the show cattle industry.  After a short while it was decided to facilitate a group of such breeders to market their club calves and show cattle.  In August 2005 the group was formed, “The Virginia Club Calf Producers LLC.”, and we would have our first annual “Best Of The Valley Club Calf Sale” in September of that same year. There were 20 members in a 100 mile stretch on the I-81 corridor. In October 2005 it was decided to start a winter Jackpot show, and in 85 days we organized what has become the largest Jackpot show on the East coast “The VCCP Winter Classic”.  In March 2011 it was decided to hold an elite event like no other, and after some planning and organizing another event was born. The “First Annual” “Eastern Elite Production Sale”  will be included during  the 2012 VCCP Winter Classic jackpot show, and will feature some of the best cattle genetics and bred heifers money can buy.  The sale will be a cattleman’s sale to include some of the country's most elite genetics of breed cattle, show cattle and club calf genetics.  All of our events are held at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds in Harrisonburg, VA.
